Love it man!!! I wanna do the same to mine. I don't have the courage yet to open up my lights though although I've read some how-to's. Were they hard to reseal or any issues with condensation? And if you don't mind around what did you pay for the Oracles? A local shop quotes me WAYY to much for these I feel, I want a realistic figure.

Thanks!

Sorry I didn't see this !
Yes I had problems with moisture I just resealed them and was VERY cautious with it. Just do it right the first time. You don't want to have to do it twice trust me. I paid $280 for the oracles and multifunction remote

If anyone is interested, I can get the RGB (colorshift / colormorph) halos for the 4th Gen quads, with a RF remote for $200 shipped. They aren't "Oracle" brand.....but, I like 'em better.

Why?

Well......first off, choose whatever color you want. Want red? Ok. Blue? sure. Purple? Yup.......you get the idea.

Remote comes with it. No extra goodies to buy

External resistor pack. The biggest thing I've seen on warranty replacements for LED halos? The resistors that are soldered to the PCB go out........then you have 3-5 LEDs smack dab in the middle that are out. UGH......not with these. They have an external pack for the resistors. Something acts up, it gets replaced. Done. No need to open the light, no swapping of the halo (under the norm that is!)

Neat stuff! Check out a build I did with them here - http://www.ramforum.com/f96/colormorph_rgb_halos-51358/ - hit me up if anyone is interested in some!

what do you have again?

Those halos linked are for the quad lights only.....they are fitted, so any of the aftermarket ones....probably won't fit quite right (or duals...)

Dammit jj making me sad now :(
How much are the color shift ones out of curiosity ?
Do you have to tape it down while you glue them into place like oracles ?

If I remember right JJ usually uses floral wire or some other very small gauge wire to secure halos. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup. That's what he recommended to me. I used hobby wire that I picked up from the hardware store in the same aisle with picture hanging stuff.

Wow that's cheaper than my oracles. I glued mine into place and haven't had any problems. It's been pretty damn hot the last few days so we shall see over time it it fails I will try that floral wire. Do those lights have different functions beside changing colors ?
