Decided to black out all of the chrome bits on my truck.... with the exception of the hub centers.

Did it all myself for around 20 bucks.

And I decided to black-out the B pillars. A lot of the higher end models come this way, on them, it's a vinyl decal.

A lot of the guys that buy the higher end models peel that off.

I like the way it looks with tinted windows.

Here's a peek at the bed...

Bedrug liner, looks and feels like carpet, but it is waterproof, solvent proof, gasoline proof, and battery acid proof polypropylene, essentially plastic. The bed is 3/4" thick padded, nice and comfortable to crawl or lay on, and it is supposed to be tough, and washable with a power washer.

I don't plan on hauling truckloads of #4 gravel, but a man never knows, does he?

Tonneau is an Extang Revolution. Roll-up with no snaps, no velcro, it has soft rubber weatherstripping along the sides that are supposed to seal. The first one I bought was drop-shipped direct from the mfgr in Michigan. Got it installed and noticed a section of the seal wasn't sewn in place, the machine just missed the rubber for about 6 or 8 inches, from the outside looks perfect, and still would function, but the seal wasn't in place to be sewn.

Anyway, I called the mfgr, told the customer service rep what happened, offered to take pictures or whatever, he said, "no sir, your word is enough, we have your address, and will get another one out to you. Use the one you have until the new one arrives, then just throw the original away"

I debadged mine already to get rid of my "chrome bits" and ordered the blacked out tail gate badge off ebay for the 14s and replaced it when it came in today... only $20

If anyone wants my chrome one I took off just pay shipping and I'll send it your way!

Waiting for free time and permitting weather on my off days to install my BedRug... did my research on it and loved everything I saw about it. Can't wait to get mine on. How do you like yours so far? Any issues with the install?

How much denatured alcohol did yall use? The quart doesn't seem like enough but 2 of those cost as much as if I bought a gallon but I already have too much paint and crap piling up lol

I just cleaned where the strips would go, not the entire bed. But mine was a fairly brand new truck.

So far I love it.

Install was simple. As mentioned above, make sure you clean the bed really good so the tape sticks. I used alcohol....

....both from a bottle and a can.
