Looks good. What did you use to black them out?

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas

I removed the bumpers. Sanded them down with a power sander (chrome). Primed them with rustolium professional then painted with flat black. There was some dry spray because I was trying to avoid runs, but seems to work ok. May wet sand a little because I’m not totally satisfied with the finish.

Nice job!
If keeping the badging I would remove the 1500, these things are like billboards! The 2019 classic has even more, idk how people are keeping that little classic add-on badge

Another pic from this morning.

Not totally sold on the red tow hooks yet

It would look much better without the badges. The red hooks give a nice contrast to the black.

I need to come up with a good solution for them. They make badge kits that are black but door handles are a whole different animal

You could remove the badges. No badges gives the truck a cleaner look. c8ecb7ed6ccc6e70b25de1c9d3f484f6.jpg

Mine were white, didn't like them. Just put replacements on it.

Looks good with the chrome gone. Red hooks stand out, not terrible but i would go gloss black.

I agree. I would paint the tow hooks gray or black though. I agree they need to offset the dark colors but red doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe if you had black badges with red highlights/shadowing it wouldn’t stick out as bad and would fit the package???

Wrap the door handles in black vinyl. I did that on my last ram. It held up surprisingly well. Only took a couple hours and about $5 of vinyl.

I agree with the finish with the Flat Black . It stands out to much . I personally would try a satin or semi-gloss Black . Hooks are fine red like the Anniversary Rubicon Jeep was , its a MOPAR thing
