Blind Spot Alert - Service Required

A warning message popped up today "Blind Sport Alert Unavailable - Service Required".

Anyone have this before, any quick things to try? I restarted the truck a few times and also wiped all the sensors (pretty clean already).

I have an appointment setup at the dealer for Wednesday but I don't want to waste my time if there are a few additional things to try first.

I had this happen once with the same message. The problem went away after restarting the truck and has not happened since. I am waiting to see if it happens again before taking it in for service. Going in for service is very inconvenient for me.

My 2019 started doing this with only 1300 miles on the clock. It was right after a snow storm and the sensors all look ok (clean) and there is nothing obstructing the rear tail lights (which is where I believe the BLIS electronics are located) nor any apparent water in them. Taking the truck in for service as its a daily driver and the problem hasn't gone away as it has for others after a few re-starts.

It was fixed with a software update.

Dealer found code: B22A9-04.

TSB # 08-125-18 recommended for that code (Flash: Blind Spot Monitor System Updates).

Message is gone and BSM works as expected.

Thanks; last evening the dealer took a look at my truck and did the same thing/fix; flashed software update per TSB-08-125-18
