It was going to get colder outside (-30C /- 25 F). I knew my Block heater cord did not work (circuit tester tested). So I was going to fish the three prong plug out. I tied a cotton string to the three prong plug in. I removed two zip ties off fuel line holding the block heater cord to it. A metal clamp holder also fell off by the wayside on old cord. I could get it no farther then the body frame meeting a upper red painted body corner support bolted to main frame (adjacent tow hooks). I had to reroute the new cord and side cutter off the old cord. Bummer ! 15 minutes of cold for this job. Cord was long enough to end up at same place above chrome bumper. Heater cord new at NAPA $ 29 CA
