So I wanted to add a backup camera (have the rear sensors only)
but didn't want to spring for the Mopar setup or dig into the dash to access the radio.
Found this Boscam K-7 wireless camera on Amazon, had a $35 off coupon so it was only $95.

Install took about half an hour since I drilled an access hole in the bed to run the camera wire through.
Instantly paired with the monitor, and the image is crisper than my camera could capture.
Still haven't decided on a location yet, waiting until additional wood trim pieces come in then I'll find someplace permanent.

Camera clears tailgate when lowered

Access hole (yellow wire is 12v tap for bed lights)

Tapped into reverse wires for little power box, transmitter has tiny antenna and plugs into camera.
Camera gets power only when in reverse. Monitor automatically comes on.

The curves at each bottom corner are actually my bumper.

Guidelines have 6 depth/width settings and can be on or off.
Adjustable brightness & contrast and mirror/normal views.
Monitor plugs into my 12v console outlet which shuts off with the truck,
so the system won't draw any power while the truck's off.

(and yes, that's a quarter on my keys I put a .22 through at 25 yds ;))

Looks good. Do you know if the camera itself would fit into the oem tailgate handle where Ram places the camera?

I doubt it, it's self-contained in that little box.
The OE tailgate camera is just a cylinder I believe.
