Hi guys, new here. I have been a Ford/Toyota guy for awhile, but the issues started stacking up and I wanted to give a new brand a try, seems everyone I know drives a Ram now so I thought why not. I actually traded my 17 Tacoma SR5. They are calling them the **** gen (3rd gen) now with all of the issues they are having. I had 6 major warranty repairs in my year of owning it (25k miles). But anyway, so I far I like the new 2019 Ram 2500 and it gets about the same MPG as my V6 Tacoma with alot more towing and space. Don't really have any mods for it, just some tint and a spare key. It's a work truck so I just need to keep it running.

Welcome to the forum! Man its hard to believe that monster gets the same mileage. I guess the new 8spd auto is mostly to thank for that. The 2500 looks good in white!
Thanks! The Tacoma was slow and had terrible MPG, I was never very happy with that truck, its all fan boys and hype.

Wow I love the look of your truck! The 5th Gen 2500’s are so nice looking with their massive front ends.

But, but all I ever hear is how dependable Yotas are!... LOL
I hear the same thing about Subarus too, but my aunt owned 2 of them and they were both in the shop all the time...

Great looking truck! I'm just over a year into mine, and love it just as much still! And the MPG I'm getting out of the 6.4 are better than my last truck with a diesel.

HEY, sharp looking ride. It may not have all the Bells/Whistles like on higher trim models, but it sure as heck do the job and tow/pull/load what U need etc.,.

Go check out any 3rd gen Tacoma forum, they are dumpster fires of guys having tons of issues and then guys saying how there trucks are bulletproof. What broke me was a guy got his 2016 Taco to just over 200k miles and found a major fault in the engine that basically bricks them, which will kill every V6 taco around 180-250k miles. It's not fixable without a full rebuild. Those trucks are not gonna last...

I just traded in my 2014 Tundra double cab 4WD for a brand new Ram 1500 Limited crew cab 5.7Hemi eTorque 4WD. Only have 600 mi on the new ride but it is nice to leave the Tundra's bed bounce, road noise and general shaking behind. As well as it's dated entertainment system. But it's gonna take a little while to figure out all the options available in the iConnect. Great truck so far!!!
