In my area there are a lot of poorly paved roads. I’ve noticed that when riding on these roads it creates an effect where the lights look like they’re bouncing all over the road.

Anyone else made crazy by this?

Check your fog lights if you have them. The bracket it snaps into loosens up allowing them to bounce. It drove me crazy on my 14 but was an easy cheap fix theres a few ways to do it

For lights? Not sure what that means.

People have tapped around the posts that clip in others set screws. Me personally I knew I wasn't lifting or needing to change the adjustments any time soon so I just made sure they were where they needed to be and mixed up some 2 part epoxy roughed up the surface a little with them right on the truck and put a generous glob on both sides. Problem solved

Sounds like it worked.

I have a lifetime warranty thru MOPAR, probably have them look at them when I’m in for an oil change.

Just bad design, or loosening with time ya think?

Plastic just loosens up and wears down over time. Talk to them they might cover it

This is a good call @FF1899, just tested.

Headlights only, no bounce while driving.
Touched both the fog lights, surprisingly amount of play (for a light). Can simulate wiggle on both sides with a mere touch of the glass. These things must bounce like crazy when driving.

Tough for them to say that this is working like designed because it creates such a poor nighttime driving experience. Almost dangerous.

I’ll talk to the dealer, if the lights don’t cause a seizure first.

Thanks.

To bring this full circle, I had my visit to the dealer this morning. I was advised the MOPAR warranty would not cover the repair, however because the truck was bought recently - I received a “good will”.

Both lights replaced $100.
