My 1500 QC has #1890 payload. My trailer has 950# tongue weight. I was getting the bounce the first time I towed on concrete freeways. The bounce was worse with just the trailer and the bed empty, with the motorcycles in the bed the bounce was less. I turned the traction control button (ESC) off and that cleared up the bounce. It seems like the sway control on the hitch tries to correct and the truck's ESC is pushing the truck the other way so it gets into a bounce cycle. It also feels like the trailer brakes are getting cycled on and off as the bounce occurs. Have towed 8k miles with ESC off and no issues. A couple of times it happened when I forgot to turn it off, but that is on the takeoff checklist now.
