I did The abs bleed brakes and I no longer have error messages on the dash, but the pedal still goes almost to the floor. The brakes work once it gets down there, but not good enough to drive on the streets. I ran out of daylight and brake fluid before I could get anything to work. If I pump the brake pedal I do get some pressure and it raises the pedal. Now I just need get them to work properly.

Did you re-bleed your brakes (the 'normal process) after you did the ABS bleed process?

The ABS bleed process just gets air out of the ABS module. Then you gotta re-bleeed to get the air (that was in the ABS module) out of the brake lines.

Sometimes it take a couple ABS brake bleed proceedures, if the air doesn't come out the first time.

I got some more brake fluid and went over to work on it again. It’s now working like it should and I’m on the road again.

It took a couple times doing it. I ran out of brake fluid and had to buy some more. Now all is good. Thank you.

I circled the warning in the last pic because its easily missed if your just flying through it. When the procedure starts, its going to suck in your brake pedal and if your not ready for it you will probably **** your pants like i almost did. It was kinda violent

Also, when its done, it will tell you if any of your calipers need to be bled some more. When i did it, it said the front passenger side wasent up to *****, so i redid the bleed and ran it again and was good to go
This was very helpful! Thank you for sharing that.

As someone else said, the shade tree way to bleed ABS is to find a gravel road or parking lot and just slam the brakes a couple times at 5-10 mph to cycle all the ABS valves. Then rebleed all four wheels.
