Where can I get some brake line extensions for my 2012? I've been having a tough time figuring it out from searching online..I don't want to hear that you or I don't need them, your opinion will be ignored. My brake lines are currently my limiting factor in the rear, not sure about the front, but that is very dangerous.. Any help is appreciated

Not trying to be a smartass here at all but have you thought about making your own? It's not hard to do, all you need is a double flaring tool.

Don't know anything about making them, that would be a worst case scenario probably.. Would rather just buy something and bolt it on

They do sell short lengths of brake line that you could bolt on (Just make sure you get the right size), you'll need to bleed your brakes but you'd need to do that if you just bolted on extensions anyway.

What I would do is any automotive store carries brake line - buy some, cut it to length, bend it, flare it and it's exactly what you need.

"Ram 1500 Replacement Brake Line Kit for the 2007 to 2014 models come complete with only the two front lines. The rear brake lines are not available since the rear lines require cutting, flaring and crimping of the OEM steel brakes lines."

No Bueno on the rear brake lines.....

The last ones I bought were for my '07 and they came with 3 hoses including the rear. The problem with the 4th gen rears is they are hard tubed from the Y and it's crimped right to the hard tube. To replace the rears you have to cut and flare the hard tube and install your own braided lines, nobody actually makes a kit because you have to cut the OEM tubing. You can buy braided lines from them to your desired length with a banjo on one end and a flared fitting on the other and bolt in, you just have to call them and order them.

I've done this on my '09 so it can be done, well, the hoses are in my posession anyways; I'm waiting for good weather to do the brake lines, SSBC calipers, and hydroboost upgrade.

Some hardcore parts stores make custom length ones. I know we have one in a town near by that will make them for you. It's a non-franchise parts store. Maybe look for a place like that around you?

I know of local hot rod shop that makes custom cars that do their own and they'll cut them for you and put the ends on as well.
