Hello, I have a slight dilemma. On my '13 Laramie, I had new tires mounted (33×12.5-20) and alignment done. Alignment shop told me I needed new upper control arms due to a "popping " sound (no popping noise beforehand). Started that noise a day or 2 later. So I replaced those, and popping didn't go away. New I replaced inner & outer tie rods, no luck. Checked lower control arms, in good shape. Noticed a scrubbing noise when applying brakes, so replaced brake pads. That's when I notice that brake calipers had almost no pressure on them when I was removing worn pads. Replaced pads, bled system, still had spongy pedal but good brakes, and still popping. Took tire off, caliper has good wiggle in it......1/4-1/2 movement. Replaced master cylinder (hoping this would fix), no luck. Brake booster has good pressure, but calipers still have movement when pedal not applied. I'm at a lose, and trying to avoid putting in shop, as I prefer doing my own repairs/maintenance. Any help is appreciated.
