Breaking.

Alright guys my 2017 with less then 3k miles on it already has breaks screaching. I've tried using compressed air and high pressure water thinking there might've been a rock or something stuck but no dice. The screaching isn't during the whole break application just at certain pressures but have to press harder for it stop. Doesn't make any sense to me but I'm also not a mechanic, I work in the medical field.
If anybody else has had this issue with their 2017 or 4th gen please feel free to comment and let me know what your issue was/is and if it was covered under warranty. Or if anybody might know or have an idea please comment. Thank you!

Brake pads are a luck of the draw type thing, I wouldn't trip over it. Most places will inspect brakes for free. I doubt your dealer will do anything unless you really squeak at them and play off their guilt. Pads aren't a warranty item, but maybe so soon they will at least look at it.

Same happened to me when I first got my 16..3 weeks later they were noisy at like stop n go traffic..called dealer they said it wasn't covered. Said ******** I just paid almost 50k for this truck, so went to get all new pads..they blamed it on the pads being "ceramic" for all the noise.

Check with your dealer. I know in Canada brakes are covered for 1 year or 20,000 unless has changed

Did you ever bed the pads or season the rotors when it was new?

Pads aren't a warranty item, but maybe so soon they will at least look at it.

if im not mistaken brake parts have a 1 year/ 12k mile warranty. with only 3k on the truck i would take it back to the dealer.

Before going to the dealer I would find a safe place to do 4 or 5 50-0 stops in a row. Sometimes just getting them hot will cure a squeak.

or tell them it will last time they see you and find another dealer..

Sounds like brake pads weren't broke in proper.
