Any suggestions on how to remove the plastic shaft from a rear ABS speed sensor? It is broken off inside the wheel. While removing it for replacement, it came out about 1/2" and then broke off.

I took the hub off used a torch to burn the plastic shaft out let it cool and assembled with new speed sensor pickup.

Edit: sorry just seen it said rear. I'd use a small drillbit drill A hole in it and see if I could thread a screw into it and pull It out heat is also your friend but not too much.

Maybe a small easy-out bit that would fit in there. Those would dig into the plastic and hold on for you.

I know it’s an old thread, but was unresolved. I has the same scenario and was able to wedge a 90 degree pick in and slowly twist with outward pressure to get it removed.
