Speaking of dog tags... well as an Electronics Maintenance Marine I can't wear mine due to electrical shock/safety of flight etc etc. Otherwise still serving trying to reach retirement mostly intact.

I was Retired (like being volun-told, but opposite) after serving just shy of 23 years. October 93 to Sept 2016. 11B (Mech/Straight Leg/Motorized) 74D(BN CBRN-E/Assistant Ops NCO). 2 summers @ Ft. Benning, 3 wks NTC Ft. Irwin, 1 summer Camp Shelby, 1 spring Ft. Bliss, 3 weeks Camp Blanding, AZ/Mexico BP summer 06, Ft. Leonard Wood for multiple schools, Utah for WLC/PLDC, Ft. McCoy for oh so many weekends and ATs, plus 2 all-expense trips to Kuwait/Iraq 04-05 & 09-10.
This thread is STILL a great idea.
