Brought home a new 2019!

After much deliberation I decided it was time to trade in my baby. 2012 6.7 CTD that I've had since new in 2013.

She was a great truck and I'm really going to miss her.

I traded for a 2019 2500 Laramie Longhorn with the 6.4L HEMI, 8sp trans and 4.10 gears.

I am amazed at the power and throttle response of the new power train.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've been reading up on the PC but it will be a while before I do any mods. I deleted and tuned my last truck by it's second oil change and want to see if I can hold out a little longer this time.... But we'll see. LOL

The ride difference is night and day. My 2012 rode like a dump truck compared to this new truck. That and the throttle response of the 6.4 is amazing compared to the tuned diesel, this thing is ready to jump the moment you touch the skinny pedal. I guess after so may years I just got used to it but once I drove a new one I was hooked.

It is good to hear how much you are liking the hemi/8 speed combo...especially since you are coming from a cummins!

Congrats on the new truck! The 6.4/8HP combo really make for an awesome truck. Like you said, it’s eager to hit it hard. If there’s any torque management it’s not noticeable that’s for sure.
