I recently got a brush guard off a dodge at salvage. Looked like they had some fabbed angle iron behind the bumper.
Most I see new come with extra brackets to install. Anyone have a clue where the guard mounts on a 2005?
This is my truck and a not so great shot of the guard, but you can see the mounts.
Any help is appreciated.

From the pictures it looks like the brush guard narrower then your frame rails. If that is the case you are going to have to make some brackets to make up the distance. and some pretty beefy brackets at that to make it structurally sound. this is my humble of course take it with a grain of salt.

Exactly @CrasherAsher I would personally make/ extend new front frame rails with a piece of small angle iron and either make the bolt holes or weld it directly to the frame on top of the angle iron.

Take it to your favorite metal shop where they fab stuff like this all the time. They will have some good ideas and I hope you scored on the brush guard! Those are not cheap when you buy them new. :)
