I have a 97 ram 1500 4wd 5.2l engine. Was looking to get a brush guard. Anyone have any suggestions? Or pictures of their truck with a guard on it?

I think you should go with a full brush guard. I'm not a big fan of the bull bars on our second gens but that's just my opinion tho

you want brush guard or full bumper, i love my full bumper and got it for the same price as a brush guard....and i dont have to worry about the brush guard bouncing back if i hit a deer.

Loki, normally I'm not a fan of this style bumper, but holy **** I can't get over how sexy it looks on your truck haha. Flows with everything awesome.

Not sure, i've seen alot of these around here, i think it may be a company down in the tri cities, saw an ad for custom ones made down there that looked just like these. i see 'em all over around here....I bought it locally off CL from a guy. $200 and a shotgun i was $50 into.

I have the exact same one except with only one bar on the bottom I love it :)

Been thinking about cutting of the bottom bar. It hangs right in front of my under-bumper lights.

that lower bar is gunna let you know if your gunna crush your steering stablizer before you damage your truck. and i know, based off a brush guard i build, that lower bar helps alot with structural integrity. it would probably be fine without it, but that bar will protect your truck. i would move the lights instead...
