Before someone hops in hear and tears ur head off. Cuz there is several threads on this topic already....

It "Catches" the oil that would naturally be dumped into the combustion chamber to be burnt off.

The oil vapor that doesn't condense on the walls of your intake tract ends up in the cylinder, to be burned away for emissions purposes. Oil has a lower octane level than gasoline; having it in the mix will effectively lower the octane of whatever gas you're running.

Some claim more mpg's... But its really for piece of mind, and it looks cool. Its on my to-do list.

I wanna get one, just have to wait a little bit. are they hard to install? I'm not the most mechanically inclined :)

Has anyone tried to make their own? I think it would be vary do able. I am going to look into to it.

I know there were a few guys who made their own for diesels on a ford trucks website that I used before I totaled mine. I want to say it cost them around $50ish but don't hold me to that.
