They look much more useful than the stupidly placed stock hooks....

It would be nice if there were more holes along the side of the bed (such as on another company's truck) to add more of these.

Do you happen to have a wider shot? I'm having trouble visualizing exactly where you mounted them.

They are very useful and it's great that they push down out of the way when not in use. I had them for 20 years of my old Ford, and the first thing I did when I got my Ram was put four on the bed rails. I have a long bed so I can have four of them plus the cross bed box. And I can attest that they are sturdy and last, because I've used them a LOT to tie down heavy loads.

Interesting, I didn't even know you could put them there. I rarely use the in-bed hooks that came with it. Almost always use the ones on the bed rails. They mount very easily with no cutting or anything.

Don't the rear stake holes require cutting out the plastic that extends down into the hole?

Mine didn't. I had read that you needed to use a router to cut a sleeve out on a Ram, but my rails didn't have that sleeve. It's a 2018 regular cab made in Mexico. I drove to a local auto parts store to buy them, and installed them in the parking lot in a couple minutes. Only needed a #3 Phillips screwdriver.

I just took one out and took a picture to show you what it looks like. I think most of them do have the sleeve but I guess I got lucky, maybe they put cheap bed rail caps on the Rams in Mexico

Added a set of BullRing in-bed hooks today. Just did the rear pair; will wait on the front as I'm still considering a cross-bed tool box. Easy to install; just had to trim a little of the bed liner material from the edges of the holes.

I honestly dont remember those holes being in my bed already, will have to check tomorrow. Planned on eventually getting a set for the cab side of the bed, but now I might get two, along with the bed rail mounted ones.

I have a set of those Bull Ring 1066 pull out tie downs in my truck bed also. Have had them since January and they are very useful,.
I just wish a pair of them could be installed at the front upper corners of the pickup bed. Only reason they cannot be installed in the front upper corners is due to a factory bracket, see attached picture.
Now some years of Ram pickups don't have that bracket and you can install them in the upper front corners.

Mine doesn't have the brackets up front.

This was my solution for more tie down points. I have a go rhino sport bar. I found these on amazon and added six loops total, three on each side, and two of them doubled up like in the pic. Haven’t had a chance to use them yet.

My made in Mexico 8 foot bed looks like it can take the bull rings in the front holes, but I have a crossbred box on it.

I have the box mounted back a little bit to make sure I have plenty of clearance between the lid and the rear window when it's open.

Just an FYI, at least on my 2017, the rear panel holes for the Bullrings are very close to the factory LED bed lighting. Ill probably order one set first and see if they fit, and order a second if they do.

My 8" bed with the factory liner required cutting out.

When you say liner, do you mean a plastic bed liner? Mine came with factory spray-in bedliner and plastic rail caps, with no sleeves. BTW it's a Tradesman, so maybe that has something to do with it? It also didn't have any covers over the stake holes. Basic black bumper work truck, with some interior upgrades. They probably assume most folks buying the basic trucks for work will put cargo hooks on the bed rails, while folks buying upgraded fancy models probably won't, and the in-bed factory hooks will suffice.
