CA cats/exhaust to 49 state cat/pipe?

My 02 2500 5.9 V8 started throwing a “mini cat threshold” code today. It’s a California model, so there’s three cats.

If I do need to get a new cat, I’d prefer to just install a 49 state crossover pipe and cat and eliminate the 2 small cats on the CA head pipe.

Questions I have:
-can I eliminate the 2 mini cats and go with the 49 state pipe with one cat

-if I do eliminate the two small cats will the ecm be ok?
What can I do with the extra 02 sensors, and will my current sensor wiring get the sensors to pre/post locations back by transfer case on the main cat?

You can do that. Just have a shop weld in new bungs and place them in like normal
