Hello all,

First time member and first time Ram owner 2012 sport 6 inch lift, it's officially a year now.

I don't have any issues with engine overheating but my cabin area gets very warm at my feet and legs. My undercarriage heat shields looks to be fine with no issues or missing. I don't like to always use my a/c but was wondering if this is normal for Ram trucks? I just had new shocks installed yesterday so while just talking to my mechanic since the truck was lifted up for replacement shocks everything looked fine he thinks it's my catalytic converter that could be the issue.

The floor pan and the bulkhead (firewall) do get pretty warm after some time. The catalytic converters on each side do contribute alot of heat to the floor pan. I have used some heat barriers over the years to keep the exhaust heat off of the floor of the cab and it has made a difference for sure. This is what I currently have in my daily driver...

It's easy to install and it can be trimmed to fit anywhere.
