i have the same box for my 2 L7s and they sound great the airspace is just right and its some nice clean bass with no distortion what so ever but just remember to put the box as far away to the seat mounts as possible because i had mine pushed back and the metal braces in my seats took a little chunk out of the edge of mine but other than that its a great box

now I'm just waiting to get a ground for the amp. The seat bolt has been suggested and that's what I'm gonna use but its locked in good and tight

Well its alive!!!! I need to look at the amp manual and see what some of these settings mean. This is my first "system" of sorts.... other than 6x9's in a Toyota Celica rear deck back in the day. all the gains are set to 0 and I moved a switch that has .1-.8v 1-8v or something like that and the bass increased.

Do you have a pic of how you did your ground wire?

not real pretty but its working for now. Its 4g. I tried to get the washer off the bolt and put the connector between bolt head and washer but the washer wouldn't slide off. Not sure if I could just wedge it between there with sliding it on the threads.

Just ordered a Kenwood KDC X497 from Amazon. Single din el cheapo but it has to be an improvement. Got it for the HD tuner and had an usb port in the front. 4v pre amp voltage and 3 outputs. Pandora will work for me vs. the XM

nothing special here. wanted to see what hd radio was about and get some good pre outs for another amp. the harness was a simple color match code match to hook together. I may install tomorrow and hopefully its just plug and play from here

install was pretty easy. I don't have a pics of the install but the dash removal is on youtube. pretty easy. Harness is just plug and play other than matching the colors together on the radio harness. REALLY opens up the door and dash speakers. They are doing much more than with the stock unit. I went with the kenwood for the 20w power channel trying to avoid a 4 channel amp. I don't plan on buying one now. I just need to tune the sub amp for better performance.

Please pull that ground off that bolt. That's a horrible ground point. On the drivers rear side of the center console is a opening in the carpet to make a good grounding point
