I've done them a few ways. I've taken them off and broke them down and sprayed them, I've masked them on the car and sprayed them, and I've brush painted them on the car. For the time involved I just brush paint them on the car these days. Prep is key to get everything off them. On a daily driver be prepared to redo them every year or every other year best case scenario....that's why I never do my daily. My play car I can get 7-8 seasons out of them but it never see's rain and hasn't seen salt since 1999.

 Its insane to me how much crap costs in Canada!

You could have someone you know in the states buy them, and then just ship them to you...

Ha ha ha. Yup! It’s brutal. That’s a market of 35 million Vs 350 million [emoji2369]. Also, our dollar is crap and has been for quite some time now. You can probably put a down payment on a house with the change in your pocket here in USD.

This is on amazon. A little better, however, I can’t justify this at this point in my life. Money getting tight with 17K a year in daycare fees plus plus plus [emoji1787]

Your calipers look great. I just went the cover route.
2 other cars of mine I did...one just painted and one an Acura mod using covers off of an RDX plus paint. The Vette is just VHT and a quick wipe of the raised lettering. Turned out awesome, but a lot of prep. Prev owner had painted calipers red very ****tily and I had to remove it all.

Thanks, if I were to take a photo one foot away the paint would look like :poop: but I’m not parking it at car shows. Do what makes you happy and fits your budget.

You’re just looking for a quick pop contrast on the rest of the vehicle, not a ‘hey check out my upgraded brake caliper’ that’s actually a cover upon closer inspection.

Wow, **** Canadian prices, that's wacked! Another reason Socialism SUX! They're up to around $250 here in the states. Be careful of the ones on Amazon going for $200 to make sure they fit your year truck, they're not interchangeable from different gens.

G2 in blue on the wifes Charger. It's a 2 part epoxy, self levels and a very hard glossy finish. I had her up on stands, did all my prep work and minimal mask off. Once you mix I think it was a 2hr pot life and go to town. I got 3 coats on and probably had enough for on more but i hit the end of pot life and it was starting to gel.96644bfc55619a53e1bdacc795c5fb9a.jpg

Now that may last! They didn't have a two-part epoxy resin kit last time I did mine, but if anything will last near as long as powder coating it'll be that. Give us a review after a year or so.

Does the blue paint match the blue of the Mopar logo? If so I like the subtleness of that.

That pic was from August of 2017, here is shot from today sorry about the dirt been doing nothing but rain everyday. No chipping still glossy and when washed look as good as when first done. Even been through one pad change without issue.

As for the color match it is closer than what the camera makes it. Though you can see a difference, it's decent as a 3 footer, lol. Those are Mopar caps with Avery Gloss Blue on the M, black paint on the Mopar then wrapped with PPF. I call it a reverse Mopar 11 cap :)

Very impressive! Not sure G2 will work for me as I don’t have a lift. It would make my life easier and save my back from a week of walking like an old man (no offence to the old people here lol).

My wife’s cousin has access to a shop and I wonder if I can use beer currency to buy a few hours!

Do I get red or black? My truck is pretty much all black except for the red in Hemi badge and tiny EGR letters on my bug shield. So..... would red look tacky ? I also kinda want to seal in a decal. Maybe “mopar” or a “RAM”. Figure red with white letters or black with red letters [emoji2369]. I’m also not a fan of completely 100% blacked out and reason I left my chrome nuts on.
