I've been watching this thread and it finally sounds as if it is all going well to work out for you. As many before have started, nobody got hurt, the rest is ancillary. Best of luck securing one of the available trailers from your dealer.

Well my son is in a completely different scenario but he has a 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2670MK that he bought for his job. He has been working all over the country and living in it (towed it 8800 miles so far). He just started a new job today and brought his camper back home Saturday night and is now planning on selling it. Today a tree fell behind his garage and his camper is right beside the garage. Camper wasn't touched but a window was broken out of the garage and bent his gutter. Considering he is planning on selling the camper maybe it would have been better for the tree to fall on the camper...lol

We found out yesterday that we are going to get a 2022 model trailer that will be built for us.
We just need to call the salesman we did business with at Lazy Days Tampa and give him a CC number for the $1000 deposit to kick the order off. We'll get reimbursed except for the $500 deductible.
Not sure of the exact timing but were told last month 2 1/2 to 3 months. That's fine as wife goes in for a hip replacement in early August so were in a delay pattern for camping right now.
So I guess we'll finally get something for all those years of insurance payments.

Update: We were able to latch onto one that was already being built and the latest info says it's due in Tampa around August 1st. It will be nice to get all those boxes out of the garage and house and into the trailer.

Now if you could just talk the RV dealer to sell the new RV at a discount
After all, you are a Repeat Customer !

The insurance company is footing the bill for the replacement trailer including the add ons that we installed ourselves that the dealer will now install (Slide topper, vent covers, rear camera).
They negotiated the price with Lazy Days corporate. Basically they are paying the 2021 pricing not the inflated 2022 pricing (Up about 15%). It also includes registration fees and tax.
It is only costing us our $500 deductible (that we should eventually get back).

But we did lose some items, probably about $600 worth that were too minor or that we were not able to include such as new Good Year tires that were balanced and had metal valve stems, a bumper cargo hitch mount, etc.
