1.5 years ago my 2016 ram 1500 5.7 liter with 215,000 miles would throw a code saying camshaft position sensor and a check engine light but only when the temp. was below 60 degrees. My truck would stay stuck in 2nd gear. Changed the sensor through first time n it worked great for ab 2 weeks then it started doing it again. The 2nd time it lasted ab 1 week then the 3rd it lasted for 1 day and while I was on the interstate driving 70 mph,my truck slammed into 2nd gear,threw all the same codes, and acted as if I had a dead battery. Which I did have a bad battery,changed it out and everything has been fine. Now it's throwing the same code 1 yr later,but only when it's hot. Any ideas??
