Went to start my truck this morning and my battery was dead. Jumped it off starts right up now an has a good charge but it will not stay idling soon as I let off the gas it dies. I was told to just drive it an the computer would reset so I have an it still dies when I come to a stop. Anyone have any ideas? Alternator? Battery? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Try this procedure, even though you didn't touch the throttle body. This might help fix your problem.

THROTTLE BODY RESET PROCEDURE

If the throttle body has been replaced, or removed, cleaned, and re-installed, the following procedure must be performed:

a. Disconnect negative battery cable from battery. Leave cable disconnected for approximately 90 seconds.

b. Reconnect negative battery cable to battery.

c. Turn ignition switch ON, but DO NOT crank engine.

d. Leave ignition switch ON for a minimum of 10 seconds. This will allow PCM to learn throttle body electrical parameters.

e. Turn ignition switch to OFF.

f. Turn ignition switch to START position, crank engine normally.

What do you mean " and has a good charge"?
Did you preform a load test on the batt and an output test on the alt?
