Can the vin # give me what gear ratio the axles are?

When shopping for a Ram on car dealer lots, can I look up the Vin online, and find out what the ratios are on the rear axles?

I've been looking at a few, but the web sites are not listing the ratios on these trucks. Is there a certain web site that's better than others for checking the Vin number?

So far everything I've looked at has the 3:21 axle ratio listed under "standard equipment". I"m looking at V6 Rams with the Big horn trims. If it has a different axle ratio, would it be under the "standard equipment" heading, or will this be under optional equipment? Is it possible V6 Big Horns only come with the 3:21?

If there is no ratio listed in optional than it will be whats listed in standard. Same applies to limited slip

Put the vin in after the =. Then you can also get the window sticker and see how much it cost new.
