I'm getting ready to install my MaxTrac 2\4 lowering kit on my 21 Classic 2WD RCSB, ready to order my wheels and tires but I'm up in the air on the tire size....
I'm going with a 20x9 wheel with +20 offset (basically same offset as stock, just 1" wider wheel) I'm either going with a 285\50\20 tire which is 31.22" high or a 305\50\20 which is 32.05" high (the stock tires are 33") probably go with the Nitto 420V if I go 305 and either the Nitto or Pirelli Scorpion Verde if I go 285.
What are your thoughts ??

The wider nitto’s. More aggressive tread pattern, wider gives a better stance, and the larger overall diameter will reduce wheel well gap which is the reason lowered vehicles look so good!

I ended up splitting the difference and went with the 295/50/20 General Grabber UHP 1625700561755.png

So how do you like the Generals?
I ran the General Grabber UHP's on a 2016 RAM 1500 RCSB in the 295/50/20 and they were great. Good dry traction and pretty decent on wet roads but they didn't handle that great in heavy water.

For your new tire size I would go with the 305's. Just my liking.

I've had both sets. The Nittos will last twice as long as the grabbers. If you live in the mountains or somewhere with windy roads the Generals are a blast, but only for 2 months or so. 6 months from the Nittos was my experience.
