Originally I was concerned my topper/canopy wouldn’t fit with the cargo cam on my Power Wagon. Thankfully it fits with the smallest gap being roughly 1/2 inch.

Now after doing some reading I’m worried I may have an issue during off-road articulation. Does the frame on these things flex enough that I could have issues at some point? I won’t be doing anything crazy like rock crawling but might routine off-roading cause contact?

I tried my best to capture the space I’m working with. Thoughts?

I'm going to say no. Ram has a pretty stiff frame. If u really think it might scuff it try putting a piece of foam window insulation between them. If u plan to run hard trails at Moab then maybe but I don't think u will have a problem.

You might have issues at high speed on rough roads. The frame isn’t the problem, it’s the body mount bushings allowing the cab to move relative to the box. Normally you get the back of the cab dented on the driver or passenger side, but with such tight clearance to your stop lamp, that may be where it hits.
Take it slow in the rough stuff and you’ll probably have no problems.

I appreciate the feedback. I generally crawl down really rough roads and thru deep ruts so hopefully I won’t have any contact.

Kinda seems like a waisted option with the cap on (never heard anyone call that a topper until this forum). That cargo cam and the stupid bright leds are awesome.

I agree to a point. I never really used it on my ‘13 2500 other than to show it off. It just so happened to be on truck I bought this time... I’ll def get more use out of the “topper” so it’s all good. The cargo cam is cool though.
