I have the 2020 Gen 5 ram with Rambox and the divider. In the video I watched on YouTube the divider goes on top of the opened tailgate to expand cargo space. But my truck has no way of securing the divider like in the video. Is this an attachment I need to purchase?

It’s not marketed as a bed extender anymore, only a divider. You can buy the parts off of an older ram to complete your setup and make it a fully functioning bed extender like before. I’m sure someone will chime in with where to find the part numbers.

I too had this same question as my 2017 had the "bed extender clips"

I believe in 2019 they stopped putting the "Clips" to make it a bed extender. I was told it was due to the extender blocking the tail lights from certain angles. If you look between the plastic you can see the welded brackets are still there. You can buy the clips and put them on yourself.
