I have a 22 Ram 1500, when I'm using carpaly (bluetooth or hard wired) and an alarm goes off on my phone, it kills the audio on the radio. The nav still works and talks, but nothing out of the radio. No sound, the FM/AM does not to have sound, the Sat or the music on my phone has any sound. I have to shut the truck off, disconnect, open the door to kill the power, then wait until the timer cuts everything off, then restart the truck and everything is fine. Also if I make a phone call and talk to someone (while connected to the carplay) then hang-up the sound is back. Dealership has tried a couple of things, like a reset and software update...and nothing seems to work.
