I have the UAQ CarPlay media hub that was in my 2016 Ram 1500.
I “Think” it will fit 13-17 trucks but I’m not sure when they changed style.
This includes the harness adapter.
$50 shipped in the US. You do have to modify your console opening slightly for this to work.
Confirm it will work in your truck.
It came from infotainment.com

I might be interested. Do you have any pictures of it installed? How did it line up after modifications?

By the way, I believe you’re right on years. The style changed in 2018 when they started putting CarPlay in the rams. I’m swapping in a 2016 console into my 2019 Classic and my media hub is to large for the 2016 console.

I'm a bit confused. I thought the 2018+ screen unit is required to have carplay? I have the 8.4 in my 2016, this allows it to be carplay active? Or do you still need the screen upgrade? Sorry may be a dumb question

I’m sorry, I didn’t get an email notification that I received a reply. I don’t have picture of it installed. I sold the truck. It’s slightly taller than the stock hub but it’s the only option if you’re installing a UAQ radio

Yes, you need to upgrade the head unit to a CarPlay compatible unit.

The Hub pictures is the one that was used in the Jeep Compass, there's about an 1/8" gap on the width when installed.

It’s slightly taller than the stock hub but it’s the only option if you’re installing a UAQ radio

You can also use a hub from a Chrysler 200 but the opening has to be enlarged and some of the ribbing inside the console has to be removed for it to fit.
