Carven 5” exhaust tips

Show me them!!! I currently have moes 5” ones and they look terrible. I’ve tried powder coating, painting, plasti-dipping and I can’t get it to stay on them. It keeps coming off and since moes are discontinued I’m looking at the carven ones. But I’m not fully sold on them yet, plus I don’t know if I want to go stainless or black. So show me yours!!!

Dumb question.... I have flowmaster outlaw direct fit muffler and love sound. Looking to add 5 inch black tips like these above. How much or will it change or enhance sound?

The 5" tips do change the sound. I have the carven competitor series muffler. I had the carven 5" tips on for a while but I went back to stock tips after. But some like the sound change. I didn't.

I have the magnaflow 18" as well. It sounds a little different hard to describe but good. Maybe a bit deeper or echo. If you like the magna im sure you'll like the 5" tips. Imo its more for the look then sound.

Think of how ur voice sounds regularly then how it sounds different if you ever yelled into a road construction cone. Similar concept. Slightly deeper tone with 5” tips typically.

I have the Flowmaster Outlaw with the Carven tips . The sound does change a little. It’s a little deeper sounding . It’s an easy install and love the way they look .

Thanks for all the pics!! Although I would prefer moes, the carven seem to be a decent substitute. Ordered them this morning!!!
