Yes get it from Moes!

I knew nothing of this forum when I bought mine! I was just instructed to go to BT website and order it...

Total myth...

But I put one from MOE's on my truck anyway and it has only filled up (damn near completely full) twice in 18,000 miles...

It is possible that I am just "special"...the exception to the rule...:)

Inspect, your Mother thinks you're special. To the rest of us, you're just another slug.

Just kidding. Maybe it has to do with weather conditions, temp, and what kind of oil you run. This thread prompted me to check mine. It was at least half full of puke. I don't have an exact figure of how many miles ago, but I'm thinking around 1000.

I'm glad that garbage didn't go thru my engine.

Huh, gonna order one of the clear cans and drill/tap a spigot off the bottom with a hose, that way I dont have to contort my arthritic arms/hands to get the can off.

I think because most of what the catch can actually catching is condensed water vapor mixed with oïl. Here in northern city the difference between ext. temp and hot engine temp is so huge and that's maybe why our catch can perform really well here in winter.

I mean, last week we had 10 C° and the day after -30 C° :roflsquared:

Since temp are near or below 0 I must empty my catch can after every 2000 KM

I think you are bang on! It is pretty safe to say that with the color of what my can had, there is a lot of water! Any one else from southern or warmer states can share their experience with a catch can?

Yeah the colder it is the more condensation runs into the can. In the dead of Saskatchewan winter my BT can will fill right up in one tank of fuel or less. I dumped 2 almost full cans in a single day last winter

On a side note... There seems to be a much more mellow crowd on this forum these days. Catch Can threads used to turn into the ultimate **** storm and butt hurt threads.
Would this new found calm have anything to do with the legalization of marijuana?! Hey, hey hey, I'm kidding! Lol!

I am pretty sure they work, but whatever... They look so sexy, that's why I am running my second one from Moe's!

It's not that they work as in catching oil

It's do they help the longevity of the motor. Yes looking at the stuff I would think
I can guarantee there's 1000's of other HEMI's that don't have one and are still running though.Just look for used ones. lol

And yes I run catch can..lol
