I expected it to just be kind of misted with a light coating after only two weeks. I'll post a pic as soon as it cools down some.

I have a customer that installed a Billet Tech can on Monday, and today he went to install his Vararam intake and ported TB. He decided to check the can for fun, and he was shocked that it had already collected enough oil to cover the bottom of the can...That was less than 300 miles of driving.

That is actually less oil than most guys see. Its still shocking to know that it would otherwise be pumped back into the motor to build up on everything inside.

I haven't been driving that hard. I get virtually no highway driving or speeds except when I go out of my way to just keep from being all in town. My work is about three miles from home.

Holy crap!
SO glad ours will be in next week. I need to get this thing on.
I'm considering cleaning with Sea Foam, our open TB stinks of oil so badly already after 11,000km...

I was never a fan of a catch can. Run a clear hose from the side going back to the intake and you will still see a ton of oil! Kind of defeats the purpose to have something when you're still letting oil back in. A air/oil separator is what you want and need! Only way to be 100% sure. I made my own from a copy of someone else's (name left out). Here you get the idea from them...they cost almost $400 yet I only have about $12 in each.

Blow by/oil enters the side port to the left/middle of the AOS in the pic.

It then collects and drains out the bottom. Some cars have a drain back to the oil pan so these are 100% maintance free! Never need dumping.

The "baffle" you can see that oil would have to make its way up into the inner can and then somehow get sucked up into the "hanging in mid air tube", which is impossible. The inner can also has a drain hole to dump whatever makes its way in, plus for condensation that always builds up because its a metal can going through temp changes.

You got a parts list?

Thanks
