Center console mat installation

Made a big mistake in cleaning my console, I accidentally pulled the console mat out and cannot put it back in period I will include photos if I can. It's underneath the radio /AC system and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put it back. I'm trying to add media and it is not work. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're trying to install it in that orientation, flip it around, the tapered end goes in first

LOL, Thanks, I was doing it in the dark and didn't realise I flipped it around. Struggled for about 20 minutes before I even wrote the post.
