OK So I'm in the middle of the teardown phase of my rebuild and I'm getting all sorts of detail-minded. I need to buy some new wheel-well splash guards because the previous owner cut and zip tied the ones I have so I'm going to get new ones, but I'm curious if anyone has ever heard of a splash guard that would go somewhere at the bottom of the fan guard? Maybe a skid plate would work? Custom splash guards? Maybe I'm just overthinking with my adhd/touch of 'tism?
IDK I guess the goal here is to minimize water/mud/dirt/splash on to the bottom of the engine.
Again, I could be overthinking.

When I built my bumper, I kept the area in front of the tires as high and tight as I could to gain clearance. So after I did that, my fender liners stuck down 4-6" lower than my bumper, which is why I cut the front portion off. Is that the area you are referring to? Because getting new OEM liners could interfere with your aftermarket bumper.

Maybe they are super jank and need replaced, from working on mine that was just the first thing to come to mind. Didn't want you to spend $$ on liners that ended up causing more problems than they solved.

I've never heard of any sort of custom liners, if I would of to do such a thing I would probly DIY it with some sheet metal, tying it together from what's left of my current liner into the bumper or wherever else you are trying to go with it.

Oh man some custom sheet metal ones would be incredible. My buddy here has every tool imaginable so I'll bring it up and see what he says.

But no im talking about center like from the bottom of the front bumper to the bottom of the fan shroud area. It might not even be a good idea for all I know
