Centre console USB power ports

Mine are always powered on, is the a way to change them to keyed power?

I’ve been doing some reading - sounds like the 5th Gen ports only stay powered for 1 hour after the vehicle is turned off. Are the 4th Gen not like this, and they are, in fact, always on (in the center console…specifically the usb that connects to CarPlay)?

My 4th Gen 2014 Laramie turns all USB ports off immediately when the ignition is swtched off.
I bought it used, CPO, in July 2017 with 22,000 miles on it, so someone may have
made a change before I got it, but everything I have seen so far has been
factory settings.
