This morning I washed the truck, used iron remover but didn't see anything except for on the rotors when I sprayed the wheel area, so I skipped that step. Then, clay mitt. After that I dried the truck and started to polish it for my first time ever. It went well. I then used some IPA solution from Adam's to clean the polish oils off the truck. Then I started to use Adam's graphene ceramic coating...I am about half done with the truck and it started getting dark and my back is done so I called it quits for the night. I will finish tomorrow. Everything I used is Adam's products and so far all has been great. The only issue I had was cleaning the hood with the IPA I scratched it in a couple spots because my garage isn't big enough to work in so I had half the truck outside and must have gotten some dust on the hood and didn't notice when I wiped it down and put a couple scratches in it. I will have to touch up with the polisher in the am.

I went with the Adam's graphene ceramic coating in the glass bottle. Not the advanced. I will post some pics soon. I just pulled it outside in the sun so I could check it out.

I used that one first on my wifes Pacifica, but this last round with her new Jeep I went with Advanced. All it does is give you a little more life in the coating from what I have read. Cant wait to see pics!

Wow that turned out great! Did you do you glass, trim and wheels? I just did all of that to my ram. I also went ahead and did it to the wifes Jeep.

The close up pics where you can see the houses in the background is where I can see that I messed up. It is on the driver side bed of the truck, up towards the top of the bed. I set the coating and supplies on my bed cover and when I was in my kinda dark garage I must have dripped 4 drops on the bed. Can't really see it in the pics, but can see it in person at the right angle. Other than that it looks great. Gonna see what I need to do to fix it. Not an Adam's problem...it was on me dripping it on the already finished bedside and not noticing it. Overall, very happy with how easy it was to do and how it looks. Now, the only thing left to see is how long it will last!!

I did the glass and most of the trim, I did not do the wheels. I used most of the bottle, and wanted to keep a bit left just in case I missed some spots and had to touch up.

I watched a video from Adam's titled oh no, I screwed up my ceramic coating. The 4 drop marks on the bed had been there for just under 24 hours. I took a little bit of their polish on a microfiber application pad and rubbed a little bit and they came right off. I then reapplied the coating and it looks great. It is freezing outside, but I looked everything over and it looks great. No other bad spots.

Thats a good video lol. I have watched it a few times. Ill post pics of my pay it forward that I am doing currently. Its that time of year where my Christmas heart strings get tugged. Just finished V38 on it and waiting just a little bit longer for it to warm up so that I can ceramic it.

What did you apply it with? I just finished my pay it forward to whoever buys this loaner we got. Went ahead and did the interior as well. I love how the gold flake in it is popping now.

That looks nice!!! I used Adam's microfiber applicator blocks to install the coating. They worked well!! Hopefully one of these days I will wash my wife's new durango and I will put the graphene ceramic spray coating i have on it just to get it protected through the winter, then install the graphene ceramic coating, or the advanced coating in the spring when the weather is nicer!!!

Thanks man! I had this left over from a spring project. Normally I use the liquid or advanced. That‘s what I use as well. I found adams suede applicators work really well on the trim and glass. Just an idea when you touch it up or do your wife’s Durango. Each panel I work the top sides and bottom first. So basically line to line. Then like mowing grass over lap each straight line by 1/4 to half followed by going up and down and over lapping each coat. It’s a little slower, but it covers better. Temps were cooler today, so it took longer then the 2-3 minutes to rainbow. I’ll snap some good ones under my led light in the garage. It’s parked in there tonight. Man it looks good. What did you use to get your scratches out? My go to combo is adams scratch remover and whatever pad I need and then I really like Chemical guys V38 polish with the Adams blue pad. It really puts a deep wet shine. I need to do my wife’s grandmothers Altima. Are you using the Adams polish? I’m a recovering Chemical guys person. Also one last thing grab some graphene detail spray from Adams and the graphene tire shine is excellent. It allows you to pick your level of shine and it stays on the tire. No sling and can with stand a lot of rain. Graphene CS3 is what I use on my Charger because it’s a garage princess. It’s basically like a waterless wash. I keep getting ahead of myself did your truck need a clay bar? Man mine did it was a three day deal to get it back. I had it mint. My dad needed a truck that wouldn’t let him down sold it to him. He ran it through every car wash in the area it seemed for 3 years. I bought it back in January and had to retransform it to how I had it look wise. Made a few new changes and had to work on a very marred paint. Your truck turned out great. Do your touch ups and call it a day.

I used Adam's white pad and their polish. It was my first time ever polishing, so I was a bit nervous and wanted to go pretty light with it. I didn't have many scratches at all to begin with, just wanted to freshen it up a bit. I did use the clay mitt. I didn't feel a lot of contamination, but there was some. I have the graphene detail spray that I will use on it when I wash it in a couple weeks. I'm gonna get some of the graphene tire shine also. I might be spending a decent amount of money early in the morning when Adam's has their black Friday sale starting at midnight. Haha
