My 2017 Big Horn HEMI is about to turn to 100,000 miles. I changed the plugs a couple of months ago, and am looking at other things that should be done at this point.

All of the coolant hoses are original. No signs of any leaks from anywhere in the system. Looking at the manual, all I can find it that the coolant should be drained and replaced at 160,000 miles, but nothing about the radiator or heater hoses. These things seem to last much longer than they did years ago, I think the materials are better than they used to be, and the modern coolant formulations likely are better too.

Does anyone change out the hoses as a maintenance item? If so - what prompts you to do it? Time. miles, or hoses feeling hard or very soft?

Crunchy hose = bad.

If you want to do something, go silicone and spruce up engine looks and they should be lifetime. It isn't the worst idea in the world, but I doubt most people do this.

Traditional hemi orange.

I'd probably do hemi blue seeing my truck is blue, at some point. But with your vehicle I'd go hemi orange. Maybe do other orange upgrades over time.

such as..

Front and or rear diffs , transfer case fluid , if applicable.
Transmission filter/s , fluid.
Check brakes all around.
Bratke system fluid refresh if it wasn’t done with a brake job.

Your owners manual should have different maintenance schedules that can give more recommendations.

Hoses getting hard or crusty, visual inspections for bulges or water stains
