Changing Ram truck Order??

I ordered a 2021 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4X4 limited on April 15th. I’ve had a change of heart and would like to change it to the Mega Cab. The order went into the “gathering parts” status the other day and has a vin assigned. Has anyone had any success changing an order at this stage? The dealer is going to contact their area manager on Monday but curious what others have experienced. Not a big deal if they can’t because I really don’t need the mega, but thought it would come in handy at times.

Call the dealer & tell them you want to do that.

I was told once a vin is created, no changes can be made. More than likely your best bet will be to do is back out of your deal and start over again. Dont settle
