Ok I have searched this topic. Here and google. I have one video saying you can take your chrome clads off and replace them with an aftermarket replacement. In my case I had the standard 09-12 20” 5 spoke ram wheel. I wanted the sport look, so I had the covers painted on the rims. They held up for me for 2 years. I sold my truck to my dad for 3 years and they are god awful. No road rash just god knows what he did. It was so bad to the point I peeled them off. Why won’t the aftermarket black covers anywhere except dodge work with the under the cover wheel? It’s a silver wheel underneath and I am about 3 hours and the glue is still not perfect for powder coating. What’s the difference in a black rim/silver rim vs a chrome clad rim that’s had its chrome cover removed. I’m wanting the black covers FYI.

That is what I am running into. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything before powder coating.

If I remember correctly, someone on here found some aftermarket center caps that would fit the larger hole....

I have got to find them. The chrome clad ones fall threw the wheel hole lol. I am even ok with a smooth set that has no ram logo on it. I am almost wondering it the Gen 1 or 2 SRT chargers would work. They had a 20" silver wheel.

I do like those a lot, but I'm trying to get back to the black wheel look.
