Got my MF 14 and ecutout installed yesterday. This morning my check engine light came on as i drove to work. Havn't ran a scanner yet but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen. I figure the CEL has something to do with my new exhaust setup since its the only thing I've done.

That's weird. Nothing else was changed either. Rather than cutting up my stock piping they just welded up a whole new 3"pipe with the cutout on one end and the 14" on the other. Nothing else was tampered with.

Check your code first and let us know what it reads. The only reason the cutout would affect your o2 sensors was if it was in front of the o2's. You should be fine where you have yours placed. If it is an exhaust code, then just clear it out and see if it comes back. It may have just been a temporary glitch.

Will do, thanks Matt.

The location should be fine like Matt said because it is still far enough away from the rear o2's to keep from getting a code. Infront of the rear o2's or even right behind them will cause a faulty code.

so when I hooked up my cutout and went to open it, it did not open :( when I go to turn on my truck, the check engine light is off. I grab a scanner and try to pull a code anyway and got a P0406. exhaust gas recirculation sensor A circuit high. I heard it's as easy as replacing the e.g.r valve?

Maybe a shot in the dark, but check to make sure your gas cap is tightened down.

It could be the egr valve, but check that first.

Got the cutout to work, turns out one of the prongs at the connector slipped out. Sweet sweet rumble.
As for the CEL, its not showing up on my dash. I may reset the computer tomorrow to see if it comes up again.
