I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. Before I light my 2007 Ram 1500 (4.7L flex fuel) on fire and push it over a cliff I thought I would see if I missed anything troubleshooting my issue. My check gauges light has been on for a couple two or three years now yet all the gauges work and the truck runs just fine. My dome light went out recently; no blown fuses, the bulb is good, and there's no power to the light which by the way is in the center of the roof. Light will not come on with the wheel on the light switch. I have a p063a code which according to the literature is not a validated code. (The alternator checks out good and I replaced the idler/tensioner and surpentine belt) I have the following c codes which make no sense. I ran the procedure again got pretty much the same codes but now there's a decimal point in there. I didn't get the double zeros at the end of the procedure either.
I also don't get any DCT codes using the three key on/off hack.
I believe my instrument cluster has gone funkywampus. Concur?

Sorry folks I tried to edit this post but all it will let me do is edit the title. If the pictures show up too big on your screen just double tap them and they will fit your screen.

Many folk have had issues with the clusters in these third gens, there's a couple websites that rebuild/repair them, usually a ten day turn around and fair priced. I forget the name of the companies but a quick search will work.
