I'm hearing a chirping noise which I believe I'd coming from my front driver's side wheel. I had the brakes looked at and was told there was nothing wrong with them. The chirping will get faster or slower depending upon wheel rotation. I'm going to try some brake quiet Monday on my pads. Has anyone else had this issue. I'm not sure if it is my bearings, or what. This is on my 2011 1500 SLT 2wd. Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm just new to mechanics and trying to learn more. Thanks

Check your brakes a boot may have come loose and has rust or crap on it.

I will definitely do that. I don't have much space at my house so I'm going to my in laws on my day off Monday. I'm going to check my pads, rotors, calipers etc again (surprisingly the shop told me the brakes were fine and they usually always try to get money off ya). I bought some brake quiet lube stuff to see if it is bake noise. I just want to stop the chirping but it's proving difficult to track the source of the noise down.

I took my brakes apart today and applied brake quiet to my pads and so far the chirping has quit. So I'm assuming the noise was from cheap quality pads. I also cleaned up the pads.

My "chirping noise" is only when I stomp on the gas... It used to me more of a bark, but I unintentionally bought a truck with 3.21's... Then added insult to injury by putting 35's on it. :p

Hopefully it's all sorted out..... I'm no mechanic, but in my experience.... chirps are almost always less expensive than grinding, rattles or clunks.

This is a little late but the chirping was my front brake pads. I replaced them with a higher quality pad and the chirping is gone.
