After joining this forum back in '18 jsut after getting the truck, seen alot of posts about leaking around the CHML. When replacing the bulbs with LEDs, I threw on a bead of silicone. A couple of weeks ago I noticed

SO off came the light, and what a mess the silicone left.

noticed that the harness from the truck had connectorized splices for what I am assuming is for the cargo cam (I cannot retrofit because of the base stock radio).
I took the splices out and taped the remaining harness .

A sanding sponge with a course(cheap) microfiber cloth wrapped around it and some goo-gone.
I gorilla taped the opening that I could feel the headliner.

Put a small bead of the black windshield sealer/adhesive on the foam "seal" and screwed it down

@WY-Dave I haven't tried this way when I sealed up mine, so hoping you don't have to redo again. IF it doesn't work, you might want to try this route: LINK

I have some of that weather seal ready for the next time. I have LEDs in so hopefully it will be a long time before I have to get back in there
