Curious about what you guys use to clean your lights? I had the LED style lights and in NJ where the weather has been crappy lately. Used hot water and wiped them and they hazed very quickly. Tried windex and they hazed too so then I used a dry rag. Was tempted to use a little dish soap and hot water.

Me too. I found that keeping headlights waxed stops them from deteriorating as they age. I do my tails too.

Me 3. I even wax the side windows.

Me 4! lol. It also really helps to wax the wheels and windshield also.

What the op asked though; is how we clean the headlights, not how we keep them clean... :naughty:

Car soap and room temperature water should be just fine. I would avoid using dish soap on any part of my truck, ever. The chemicals are too harsh, it will melt your wax right off and eventually fade your paint as well.

It'll also dry out/fade away any rubber/plastic surfaces on the outside of your truck. I would NEVER use that crap on any vehicle I cared about lol.

You guys use regular car wax on the windows? Lol wow. I've done wheels before and lenses but not the class. It doesn't leave swirl marks?

Yeah my favorite is the meguiars ultimate wax, always comes off nice and clean. If your wax does leave any swirl marks its just excess wax, it will come off next wash no problem. :)
