I have done a lot of work on the front end of my truck, including both upper and lower Ball joints, Stab bar links, and new wheel bearings. All of these parts have less than 350 miles on them and the truck was aligned by a specialty shop immediately after the work was completed.
Tie rod ends are tight even though not new (yet).

However, when I do S-turns to get out of tight spots I will get a CLUNK every once in a while. It only happens if the 4x4 is NOT engaged. I have not yet been able to isolate and consistently reproduce the noise so I thought I would ask for some insight on where the problem could be.

If I do only a "Lock-to-Lock" nothing happens. So far it will happen if I move forward full right, stop, and then turn the steering left while slowly backing up or in the opposite direction. It is not constant and only happens ever so often, and it seems more when turning forward to the right.

As far as I am concerned, it does indicate the beginning of some wear in some part but want to be able to isolate and repair before it goes south or even becomes dangerous.

Have not had a chance to inspect the underside of the truck yet, but I will definitely have a look at the new Ball joints (they could be defective...).

Things I am thinking of:
- Some remaining suspension bushings I have not yet changed
- CV Joints even though it does not happen when 4x4 is engaged
- Torsion bars...
- Rack-n-Pinion...

Thank's for your insight.
