Code P1696 issues

Hey guys I been having a serious issue with my truck when I start it it stalls and it also stalls while driving it, it used to barely happen but now is every time I drive it and it happened to me while driving on the highway it's a really scary feeling. How can I go about fixing this ? I diagnosed it with my diablo tuner and thats the code that popped up. Thanks for all your help!

That a code for PCM write failure.

Could be that the PCM is faulty or maby the tune is bad.

Try reinstalling the factory tune

I reinstalled the stock tune and I'm still stalling out of nowhere it must be a faulty pcm then. Can they just be replaced ? Or is it more complicated than that?
